About The Position

Ferrellgas, a company recognized for its trustworthiness, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Blue Rhino brand. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of vehicles, equipment, and systems. The technician will be responsible for daily inspections, maintenance, repairs, and accurate documentation of all tasks, ensuring productivity and financial responsibility are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training / technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction.
• Responsible for mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Conducts daily inspections & completes maintenance inspection logs.
• Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees.
• Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies.
• Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs.
