About The Position

Arbor Gate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to and complete residential service requests in a timely manner. This role involves painting, groundskeeping, and resolving various maintenance issues including A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing, and appliance repair. The technician will also be responsible for preparing vacant apartments for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of grounds and common areas. Providing outstanding customer service to residents is a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

At least 2 plus of onsite experience
Possess valid Identification
Full-Time Position
1–3 years of apartment or general maintenance experience preferred
Experience with apartment turns and make-readies
Basic plumbing repair skills (toilets, faucets, disposals, drain clogs)
Basic electrical repair skills (outlets, switches, light fixtures, GFCIs)
Basic HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred
Experience repairing appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves)
Skilled in drywall repair, painting, flooring, and general carpentry
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and participate in an on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

Bilingual if possible
EPA Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
Paint and pick up grounds
Painting
Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, sheetrock repairs, plumbing and appliance repair
Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
Cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
