About The Position

The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibility is to repair and maintain the company’s machinery, equipment, and building using a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and electrical repair. The physical environment requires the employee to work in a manufacturing and office environment. The employee must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment. Minimal travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fork Truck, BOOM Lift, and VERSA Lift Certified
  • Lock Out, Tag Out Certified
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment used throughout the company to ensure optimal function.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions or operating difficulties and make repairs or adjustments to keep equipment in production.
  • Develop and enhance a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
  • Complete maintenance projects to advance the company as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Update and maintain required maintenance logs and files to ensure timely and appropriate maintenance is achieved.
