About The Position

Zobele by kdc/one is a global leader in product development and manufacturing for top Home & Personal Care FMCG companies. Due to continued growth, our Garland, TX manufacturing site is seeking a Maintenance Utilities Technician to support critical plant systems on night shift. This role involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining plant utility systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted production. The technician will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on boilers & steam systems, HVAC, compressed air, chillers, cooling towers & glycol systems. They will also support facility systems including electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and general building maintenance. The position requires responding to emergency repairs, documenting all maintenance activities, and partnering with operations and engineering to improve reliability, uptime, and energy efficiency, while adhering to all safety, environmental, and company procedures.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to work independently on night shift

Nice To Haves

• Experience with boiler operation, HVAC, chillers, glycol systems
• Technical certification or trade training (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Boiler or utilities‑specific training a plus

Responsibilities
