Maintenance Technician - Masonry

About The Position
Birgo is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician with a specialization in Masonry. This is a full-time, year-round position where the employee will be responsible for developing in-house masonry capabilities, performing exterior and structural masonry work, and also handling unit turnovers and in-unit repairs. The role requires floating to approximately 14 communities across North Tonawanda, Buffalo, Hamburg, and Lockport.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal, reliable mode of transportation
- Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
- Safely utilize power tools
- Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
- Brick repointing
- Well-rounded skill set in building maintenance

Responsibilities
- Develop in-house masonry capabilities
- Perform skilled exterior and structural work, including brick repair, tuckpointing, and waterproofing
- Turnovers/make-readies
- In-unit repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC
- Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
