About The Position

Utilizes advanced skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and metal working to repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment in compliance with established safety regulations and SOIs. Management may assign other duties and responsibilities as necessary. This role involves completing work order assignments, serving as a special project point person, performing boiler and mechanical room operations, plant start-ups and shutdowns, gauge and instrument calibration, troubleshooting and repair of equipment, and maintaining critical parts inventory.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of general maintenance required
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Working knowledge of machinery and physical plant operations
Advanced skill level equivalent to journeyman in electrical, hydraulics, boiler operations, mechanical, pneumatics
Certified welder/metal worker
Basic electronics
Basic skills in PLC
Windows XP, Tisoft, Rockwell software
Word and Excel software
Ability to work without close supervision
Ability to solve maintenance-related problems
Self motivated, and team oriented
Supervisory skills sufficient to function on lead person rotation
Willing to work any shift, including weekends, and rotational call-in schedule on holidays
