About The Position

The Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level role responsible for performing advanced maintenance tasks and providing leadership to junior technicians. This position includes training, mentoring, and supervising team members while ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include preventative, corrective, emergency, and routine maintenance on rides, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal safety and performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Maintenance Technician II or equivalent.
Must obtain or possess AIMS or NAARSO Maintenance Technician II certification (or equivalent).
Prior maintenance and supervisory experience required.
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to operate equipment used on park property.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of all rides and equipment.
Perform inspections, preventative and predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting for rides, machinery, and facilities.
Respond promptly to unplanned or emergency maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate and complete inspection records (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and as required).
Complete, sign, and properly store all inspection documentation per company retention policies.
Train, guide, and supervise Maintenance Technicians I and II.
Schedule maintenance tasks and assign personnel to meet operational goals.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
Provide tools required for the job (up to 1 ¼").
Perform other related duties as assigned.
