About The Position

With safety as our guiding principle, MacLellan Integrated Services performs project maintenance for its clients. This role is an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician III who will work with other maintenance personnel utilizing our Best Systems, to complete and supervise project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools. As the Maintenance Technician III, you will negotiate scope of work, prepare cost estimates, and prepare work instructions. You help us to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to see potential issues and by delivering timely solutions to avert those same issues to produce Best Results.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required.
  • Training equivalent to journeyman status or certification in an engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency using maintenance planning software packages such as eMaint, MP2 or Maximo.
  • Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors.
  • Experience and willingness working weekends.
  • Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
  • Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and supervise project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Negotiate scope of work.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
  • Prepare work instructions.
  • Use foresight to see potential issues and deliver timely solutions to avert those same issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Dock Doors, Levelers, and Restraints.
  • Design and fabricate line side ergonomic aides, racks, and dollies.
  • MIG and TIG weld.
  • Troubleshoot Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment.
  • Prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks.
