About The Position

The Maintenance Technician IV is a senior-level role responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex systems including vacuum pumps, electrical equipment, and related machinery. In this role, you will be required to have strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage work orders while supporting continuous improvement through root cause analysis. You will function as a team leader, mentoring junior technicians and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational goals. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent or GED (General Educational Development) with 4+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, with expertise in vacuum pump systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, with expertise in vacuum pump systems and electrical troubleshooting
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certifications in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance
  • Proven ability to perform and document root cause analysis
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems for managing work orders and maintenance history
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience training or mentoring team members
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on vacuum pumps, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions
  • Lead, guide, and mentor maintenance team members; serve as a subject matter expert in technical problem-solving
  • Manage and prioritize work orders through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability
  • Develop, update, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Provide input on equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and safety enhancements
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and support junior technicians on technical skills and safe work practices
