Requirements

  • 6+ years of maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and related testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as FiiX or other MRO platforms.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification, trade school training, or equivalent education.
  • Experience with PLCs, servo systems, automation controls, welding, fabrication, and machining.
  • Background in continuous improvement and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment, including motors, AC drives, PLCs, servos, sensors, switches, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Document maintenance activities and work orders using FiiX CMMS software.
  • Partner with production teams to improve equipment performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform fabrication, welding, and modification work as needed.
  • Support facility maintenance, utilities, and grounds upkeep.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and consistently follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
