About The Position

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement. The role involves leading preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations. The company is growing and features popular retail brands such as Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® pizza; Mrs. Smith's® and Edwards® desserts; bibigo® and Pagoda® Asian-style snacks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical and basic to advanced building skills
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• Operating knowledge of machine shop related equipment, CNC programming and welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of conveyor systems and production machinery to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations.
• Execute major equipment repairs, fabrication, construction, and installation projects, including welding to food-safe standards and precise mechanical assembly.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues through detailed inspection, use of precision measuring tools, and interpretation of mechanical schematics.
• Fabricate and maintain critical plant components such as guards, doors, steps, shafts, sprockets, and mounting brackets using lathes, metal sheers, benders, and welding equipment.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on maintenance best practices to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.
