About The Position

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team in Fresno, CA. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a key resource for the maintenance team, performing advanced repairs, diagnosing complex maintenance issues, and helping ensure our apartment community is maintained to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a positive impact on residents' homes and communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
  • Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues independently.
  • Experience completing apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and resident service requests.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm=40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance and repair work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex maintenance issues independently.
  • Complete service requests and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee apartment turns and ensure units meet company quality standards.
  • Assist with property inspections and identify necessary repairs and preventative maintenance needs.
  • Support and mentor less experienced maintenance team members.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Maintain community grounds, common areas, and overall curb appeal.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and team members.
  • Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
