About The Position

CRMG is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to maintain the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas at Red Rose Manor and Hampton Heights Apartments, which together have 118 units. The role performs repairs and daily upkeep, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and janitorial work, under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians. It also directs daily work and special project assignments for maintenance staff at comparable or subordinate levels and outside vendors. The position requires attention to detail, time management, and comfort managing work orders using technology. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or similar, with 40 contracted hours per week. The hourly rate is $34.00–$37.00. Additional compensation includes a monthly $50 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement. The role requires availability for after-hours emergencies and transportation suitable for carrying necessary tools, including power-washing equipment.

Requirements

Two years in a Maintenance II position or three years of experience in a maintenance-related field; property management experience with commercial or multi-family properties is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and flooring installation and repair.
Motivation, time-management skills, and ability to follow instructions while working alone or as part of a team.
Experience operating a pressure washer.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Knowledge and experience using a vacuum cleaner and other manual and powered janitorial equipment, and handling chemicals with close attention to safety rules.
Availability for after-hours emergencies.
Reliable transportation capable of carrying necessary tools, including power-washing equipment.
Current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions.
Ability to understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, and Fair Housing Laws, and to refrain from illegal discrimination practices.
A skills assessment is conducted before an offer is extended, and final candidates must complete a pre-employment background check.
