About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician III, you are the advanced technical leader on the property. You diagnose complex system issues, lead larger repair projects, and mentor junior technicians to elevate overall team performance. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the property, contributing to the creation of vibrant communities and meaningful careers at Trinity Property Consultants.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience (multifamily experience required).
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more major trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of appliances.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Universal EPA Certification is required.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification is required (where applicable).
  • Strong diagnostic ability across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, including identifying root causes and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Safe operation of hand and power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proficient with work-order and property management systems including mobile app literacy.
  • Strong documentation and system reporting proficiency.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.

Nice To Haves

  • CAMT Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Lead full turns and larger renovation or repair projects.
  • Perform advanced panel, breaker, motor, and fixture replacements within code.
  • Inspect mechanical systems and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Coordinate vendors for specialized work.
  • Manage supply ordering and cost control.
  • Lead emergency response and on-call service.
  • Mentor and train Technician I and II team members.
  • Enforce safety standards and best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive personal tool kit.
  • Complete all required compliance and technical training.
  • This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
