The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for responding to equipment breakdowns and performing repairs after stoppages occur. This role also involves documenting repair details as directed by team leaders and the Maintenance Manager. The position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theory, AC/DC motor controls, and PLC control logic. The technician will work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and ladder logic displays, and will be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting issues in electrical, mechanical, and automated systems, including PLCs, AC/DC Drive Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Robotic Systems. Additionally, the role involves leading efforts in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and implementing improvements to prevent recurring issues, with a focus on critical equipment impacting downtime. The technician will also provide high-level support for breakdowns and repairs of general service production and automated manufacturing equipment, and train other technicians on maintenance procedures. This position requires adherence to EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards.
