About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at BASF ECMS, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC (Siemens and AB), and pneumatics on all site equipment. You will provide technical support for new equipment installations, perform and ensure Preventative Maintenance (PMs) are completed on schedule, and maintain plant lab and weighing systems within specifications. This role involves gathering and analyzing technical data to recommend repairs or modifications, updating electrical/mechanical drawings, assisting in the development of PM programs for new equipment, establishing or modifying work procedures, making recommendations to improve maintenance and production operations, and creating corrective work notifications in SAP.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 7 years I&E / Industrial Maintenance experience, required OR an Associate/Technical degree in a related Industrial Maintenance field, with 3 years of I&E / Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.

  • Provide technical support for all new equipment installations.

  • Update all electrical / mechanical drawings for equipment modifications. (ie. red line drawings).
  • Assist in the development of PM programs for all new equipment.
  • Establish or modify work procedures including PM to meet the demands of the site.
  • Make recommendations to improve maintenance and production operations.
  • Create corrective work notifications in SAP for all production equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate/Technical degree in a related Industrial Maintenance field, with 3 years of I&E / Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
