Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

EPA Type I & II or Universal Certification
Pool certification
Prior multifamily housing experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
Assisting with apartment turns and make-ready processes
Performing preventive and seasonal maintenance
Maintaining grounds, amenities, and common areas
Conducting safety inspections and identifying potential hazards
Providing outstanding customer service during resident interactions
Working closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure property goals are achieved
Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
