About The Position

The Clearwater Housing Development Corporation (CHDC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and improve the physical quality of their assigned property. This role involves completing maintenance tasks in vacant apartments, resident apartments, and common areas, including preventative repairs. The position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and located in Clearwater, FL. Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate.
Three or more years of experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and/or electrical maintenance and repair, elevator systems and painting.
Computer proficiency in Windows operating system and MS Office software.
Possession of valid Florida Driver’s License.
Safety, fire prevention and first aid techniques.
Measurement and mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Complete maintenance tasks in vacant apartments, resident apartments and common areas, including preventative repairs.
Operate motor vehicle.

Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
