About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician II to join our Maintenance team on 3rd shift. This position plays an important role in keeping our production and facility equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician II will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, respond to production breakdowns, and support equipment improvements and installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual who enjoys solving problems and working independently while being part of a team.

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance, industrial, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or related experience preferred.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Familiarity with pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, and industrial equipment.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Forklift or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with maintenance and production teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work 3rd shift.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of industrial maintenance work.
  • Willingness to complete required safety and maintenance training.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
  • Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Inspect and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors, and related equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Assist with basic plumbing and HVAC maintenance.
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, and improvement projects.
  • Work with production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Keep tools, parts, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety requirements.
  • Participate in maintenance, safety, and technical training.
