Requirements
- Able to understand basic PLC I/O indications and use them during troubleshooting. (No PLC programming required.)
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience; comfortable performing PMs on complex industrial systems.
- Hands-on experience with Variable Frequency Drives.
- Familiar with 24VDC control circuits; able to read technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company procedures, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, hot work, and other required protocols.
- Complete monthly safety inspections and support annual fire extinguisher checks.
- Learn to operate and repair a wide range of equipment such as furnaces, sealant machines, forklifts, cranes, and other production machinery.
- Coordinate with OEMs for complex repairs.
- Execute PMs according to schedule, assist with the plant maintenance program, and document all work performed. Weekend PM coverage is a core function of this role.
- Keep tools secure and workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Support production as needed, interpret blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and recommend improvements to products, processes, and operations.
