About The Position

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for its Lebanon, Tennessee team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining warehouse machinery and distribution systems to support safety and productivity. The technician also leads projects and provides departmental training to peers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a second-shift position running Wednesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Previous facilities maintenance or maintenance technician experience.
• Experience in moderate to advanced mechanical and electrical training programs.
• In-depth knowledge of and previous experience working with high-speed conveyor systems and related components.
• Proficiency in operating and using various test and metering equipment.
• Obtain and maintain powered industrial vehicle (PIV) licenses for all warehouse PIV equipment within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to advanced mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment associated with warehouse distribution systems.
• Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose equipment and perform preventative maintenance on motor control systems, forklifts, scanners, and building systems.
• Identify damaged or defective equipment and repair it in a timely manner.
• Operate and use test and metering equipment.
• Provide departmental training based on areas of expertise and attend periodic training, retraining, or certification as appropriate.
• Follow safety guidelines, particularly lockout/tagout, fall protection, and OSHA requirements; identify hazards and plan and organize safe solutions.
• Lead projects and provide training to peers.
