About The Position

This role provides support for overall maintenance duties and responsibilities for the 2nd shift production, which runs from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The technician will perform electromechanical analysis and repair of equipment with multi-functional use, and maintain facilities upkeep of grounds, building, fixtures, and general maintenance duties. The position also supports routine equipment maintenance for safety, quality, and preventative maintenance needs, and assists in maintenance shop activities within the scope of authority to gain experience for advancement potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits, PLC, and Electro-mechanical trouble shooting (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

• PLC software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical analysis and repair of equipment with multi-functional use.
• Maintain facilities upkeep of grounds, building, fixtures and general maintenance duties.
• Support routine equipment maintenance elements for safety, quality and preventative maintenance needs.
• Assist maintenance shop activity within scope of authority and gain experience for advancement potential.
• Make preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time.
• Ensure proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems.
• Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
• Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability.
• Perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding the internal customers’ requirements.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication duties.
• Follow and promote on the job safety expectations (eyes, ears and L.O.T.O.).
• Maintain proper housekeeping expectations.
• Test equipment after repair and leave it and the area in a clean safe condition.
• Train operators on the proper use of equipment.
