About The Position

Americhem is actively hiring a Maintenance Technician II to join their team at their Dalton Plant. Americhem is one of the world's largest manufacturers of custom color concentrates.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Dependable, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to trouble shoot issues and employ problem solving strategies.
• Compliance with established safety protocols as outlined in our policies, procedures, and corporate communications.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
• Work with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Trouble shoot equipment failures.
• Performing preventative maintenance, and repairs to machinery.
