About The Position

This role provides support for overall maintenance duties and responsibilities for the 2nd shift production (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM). The technician will perform electromechanical analysis and repair of equipment with multi-functional use, and maintain facilities upkeep of grounds, building, fixtures, and general maintenance duties. This position supports routine equipment maintenance elements for safety, quality, and preventative maintenance needs, and assists in the maintenance shop within the scope of authority to gain experience for advancement potential. The role involves making preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time, ensuring proper documentation is completed, and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified for rapid response to problems. The technician will evaluate equipment malfunctions with urgency to minimize downtime, modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability, and perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding internal customer requirements. The role also includes performing welding and metal fabrication duties, following and promoting on-the-job safety expectations (eyes, ears, and L.O.T.O.), maintaining proper housekeeping expectations, trying out equipment after repair, and leaving it and the area in a clean, safe condition. Additionally, the technician will train operators on the proper use of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits, PLC, and Electro-mechanical trouble shooting (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

• PLC software experience preferred.
