About The Position

To provide support to overall maintenance duties and responsibilities for the 2nd shift production (4:00 PM – 2:30 AM). Perform electromechanical analysis and repair of equipment with multi-functional use. Maintain facilities upkeep of grounds, building, fixtures and general maintenance duties. Support routine equipment maintenance elements for safety, quality and preventative maintenance needs. Assist maintenance shop activity within scope of authority and gain experience for advancement potential. Makes preventative maintenance checks and inspections as required and on time. Assures that proper documentation is filled out and spare parts are accurately maintained and identified to provide rapid response to problems. Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime. Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity and reliability. Perform tasks in a quality fashion by meeting or exceeding the internal customers’ requirements. Ability to perform welding and metal fabrication duties. Follows and promotes on the job safety expectations. (eyes, ears and L.O.T.O.) Maintains proper housekeeping expectations. Tries out equipment after repair and leaves it and the area in a clean safe condition. Train operators on the proper use of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Technical degree in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic circuits, PLC, and Electro-mechanical trouble shooting (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

• PLC software experience preferred.
