About The Position

This position is responsible for changing and repairing tires on City vehicles and equipment, performing all necessary steps. The role also involves responding to emergency calls in the field, inspecting and diagnosing problems/malfunctions on City vehicles and equipment, and planning work procedures and parts needed for each project. The employee must maintain all required licenses, certifications, and clearances without interruption, and adhere to the assigned schedule and City timekeeping and attendance policies.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Change and repair tires on City vehicles and equipment, responsible for all steps.
• Respond to emergency calls in the field.
• Inspect and diagnose problems/malfunctions on City vehicles and equipment.
• Plan work procedures for each project and determine parts needed for each project.
• Work the assigned schedule and comply with City timekeeping and attendance policy.
