About The Position

A large national industrial services company is adding a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to its Milwaukee industrial facility. You will keep high-volume processing equipment running and help build out a strong preventive maintenance program.

Requirements

• 2+ years repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Welding: MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components, including steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Identify and resolve safety concerns
• Handle indoor and outdoor housekeeping for the maintenance area
• Monitor maintenance inventory and supplies
• Keep accurate maintenance records
