Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minnesota Boiler Operator’s License
• Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• On Call requirement on a rotating basis.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, floor care, landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort for residents and staff.
• Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry when scheduled.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures.
• Other Duties as Assigned
