About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician I at Trinity Property Consultants, you will be a foundational member of the maintenance team, responsible for supporting property upkeep, completing routine repairs, and developing essential trade skills. This role is designed for individuals eager to advance within multifamily maintenance. You will contribute to maintaining property grounds and common areas, performing routine service requests and make-ready tasks, and handling minor repairs such as paint touch-ups and hardware replacements. Additionally, you will assist with inspections, preventative maintenance, seasonal preparations, and storm response, while ensuring work and storage areas are kept clean. The position also requires participation in an on-call rotation for emergency service requests. Safety protocols, maintaining a personal tool kit, and completing required training are integral to this role. This position may include additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).
  • Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools to complete minor repairs.
  • Understanding chemical safety procedures.
  • Basic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.
  • Regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms.
  • Lifting to 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
  • Working at a personal computer for administrative tasks and using mobile devices while in the field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain property grounds and common areas.
  • Complete routine service requests and make-ready tasks.
