Maintenance Technician I
About The Position
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks. Develops understanding in an analytical or scientific method or operational process. Works with close supervision. Performs manual tasks according to established procedures.
Requirements
- Attending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset

Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
- Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
- Assists with performing equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
- Supports with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems.
- Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.
- Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains quality standards.
