About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to respond to maintenance problems and help minimize equipment downtime. The technician works from instructions and the downtime log to troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, and test equipment. The role works closely with operators to understand equipment problems and performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to specifications and schedules.

Requirements

• Basic English language and communication skills, including speaking and understanding English.
• Electrical experience.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Use instructions and the downtime log to respond promptly to maintenance problems.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, and test equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with operators and remain aware of operator-related equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, as specified or directed.
• Use diagnostic functions to troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems and make necessary repairs.
• Perform assigned special projects and other duties for personal development.
