About The Position
American Landmark Apartments, recognized as a top national workplace for five consecutive years, is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician I for Boulders Lakeside, a 460-unit residential community in North Chesterfield, VA. The Maintenance Technician I plays a crucial role in the company's success, potentially involving due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and committee participation. The primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. A new bonus structure is in place, offering a $100 stipend for on-call duty in addition to overtime pay, and bonuses of up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.
Requirements
- Prior experience in multi-family housing
- Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
- Irrigation knowledge
- Background and drug screening are a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
- Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment
- Responsive, courteous, and efficient in the handling all resident requests
