About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician I at Trinity Property Consultants, you are the foundation of the maintenance team. You will support property upkeep, complete routine repairs, and build essential trade skills that prepare you for advancement within multifamily maintenance. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and functionality of our properties, ensuring resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1+ year maintenance or porter experience (multifamily preferred).
  • Beginner-level exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and basic power tools to complete minor repairs.
  • Understanding chemical safety procedures.
  • Basic computer and mobile literacy and familiarity with work-order systems.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Active participation in team functions and regional or company activities is expected.
  • Regular periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching as well as use of hands and arms.
  • Lifting to 50 pounds independently.
  • Ability to respond promptly to both visual and auditory alarms is essential.
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
  • Ability to work at a personal computer for administrative tasks and using mobile devices while in the field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain property grounds and common areas.
  • Complete routine service requests and make-ready tasks.
  • Perform paint touch-ups and minor repairs.
  • Replace basic hardware, fixtures, screens, and outlets.
  • Assist with inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Support seasonal preparation and storm response.
  • Maintain clean work and storage areas.
  • Respond to on-call and emergency service requests.
  • Follow all company safety protocols.
  • Maintain a basic personal tool kit.
  • Complete required training and compliance courses.
  • This role may include additional duties consistent with the position.
