About The Position

Tru Vue is hiring multiple Maintenance Technician I team members in Faribault, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge or hands on experience who wants to build their skills and grow into a career in industrial maintenance. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will support the maintenance team with preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and general maintenance tasks while learning from experienced technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or hands on experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good attention to detail.
• Commitment to working safely in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, construction, or other hands on mechanical experience is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced maintenance technicians with preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
• Support equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
• Sandblast, clean, and prepare parts and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Learn new maintenance skills and techniques through hands on training and direction from experienced technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
