About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of directly related training and/or experience.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance and repair practices for pipelines, compressor stations, and related operational equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with standard computer and office software applications.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safe work practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in natural gas transmission, compressor station, pipeline, industrial, energy, or heavy equipment environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment, engines, compressors, pumps, or auxiliary station systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and maintenance practices associated with pipeline operations.
  • Technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or trade-related education in mechanical maintenance or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair compressor station equipment, including air systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, air dryer systems, and gas compression equipment.
  • Support the safe and reliable operation of facilities by identifying and responding to abnormal equipment conditions.
  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance activities to help ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and operational reports.
  • Follow Company policies, operating procedures, and O&M manuals while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, contractors, and other stakeholders to complete maintenance activities and support operational goals.
  • Assist with additional operational tasks, including equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, and other field activities as required by business needs.
