This position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and adjusting all mechanical equipment, machinery and components. The primary responsibilities include observing all safety rules and using proper safety equipment, following necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations, performing routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts and other material handling equipment such as SGVs, jockey trucks etc. to ensure they are in safe and efficient working condition. The role also involves troubleshooting and analyzing mechanical and operational issues on all equipment and taking required corrective action to resolve these issues, operating all machines so that maintenance, changeovers, and adjustments can be tested when complete, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, performing preventive/predictive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment and reporting findings promptly, providing training and guidance to equipment operators on proper use and care of forklifts, attending all training seminars provided by the company when applicable, and completing paperwork correctly and submitting in a timely fashion. Other duties as necessary may also be assigned.
