Requirements

Experienced Maintenance Technician/Carpenter
Ability to use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, to precision measuring instructions, electrical and electronic testing devices.
Knowledge of relevant equipment, safety policies, procedures and strategies for the protection of people data, property and institutions.

Responsibilities

Conserving and maintaining customer facilities and buildings in outstanding conditions as well as all equipment and systems to achieve excellent operations and safety performance.
Performing light maintenance duties such as inspecting drivers, motors, belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters and following an inspection list.
Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them by reading blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
Inspecting, operating and testing machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
Fulfilling work order requests and determining and making recommendations as to when subcontractors need to be called to perform major maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
