About The Position

With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The position requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repairs. The technician works on a single fleet with advanced equipment, supporting drivers and servicing technically advanced vehicles. The role offers training in new technologies and equipment and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair work on vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Conduct vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments.
• Change oil and replenish fluids.
• Perform adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes.
• Complete basic electrical work, such as changing lights.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.
• Complete applicable Company training programs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
