About The Position

Uses technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. Performs a wide variety of maintenance work involving structures, electrical and heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulic systems for a variety of equipment. Performs machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, and gauges, requiring skill and a basic knowledge of tooling practices and applications.

Requirements

• Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to sustain concentration, follow instructions, and make decisions.
• Fluency in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree.
• 1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of maintenance work on structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machines, and hydraulic systems for a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Performs machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
