About The Position

The Master Maintenance Technician is a senior level position within the Manufacturing Maintenance team. The Manufacturing Maintenance team is responsible for the maintenance of a wide range of equipment used in the manufacturing process, including manual and some basic automated machinery. Maintenance activity may require manual intervention, inspection, and hands-on repairs by maintenance technicians. Manufacturing maintenance technicians require a variety of skills to handle different types of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Hours: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance or related experience within an ISO certified or cGMP manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance or related experience within an ISO certified or cGMP manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced electro-mechanical knowledge along with experience applying this knowledge to process/equipment design and troubleshooting.
  • Experience and ability to become a Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW).
  • Understand safe work practices and have experience in lockout, tag out, and electrical safety per OSHA standards.
  • Experience with Microsoft products.
  • Creating and editing drawings/schematics in CAD.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Uses precision measurement tools, collaborates across teams to improve processes and equipment, and applies robotics experience such as teaching and adjusting points while working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced level preventive and breakdown maintenance of complex production equipment - mechanically, pneumatically, and electrically.
  • Senior-level activities on a wide range of equipment, from strictly manual processes to basic automated machinery.
  • Intervention into processes for inspection and hands-on activities to ensure proper safe state and quality product built post-repair.
  • Diagnose complex equipment malfunctions and conduct needed repairs.
  • Support operations schedule by minimizing equipment downtime.
  • Work cross functionally with operations, quality, and engineering.
  • Evaluate and optimize Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Accurately record all equipment maintenance data and results.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities performed.
  • Fully support the installation and validation of new equipment as assigned.
  • Proactively identifies and reports safety, quality, and productivity concerns, communicates issues across teams and shifts to ensure timely resolution, follows all EHS guidelines, supports continuous improvement and sustainability efforts, maintains a clean workspace, and works independently with minimal supervision.
