Maintenance Technician 2 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment. CORE FUNCTIONS Utilize advanced knowledge as required in diagnosing and repairing our more complex machines. This may include electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Safely execute lockout and tagout procedures in compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidental equipment startup during maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime through data-driven analysis. Manage the CMMS system, creating work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts. Assist with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies. Mentor maintenance technician I employees on equipment and advanced manufacturing systems. Rebuild machines, tools and heavy equipment & create special tools to assist with production (SH edit).
