About The Position

The County of Adams is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician 2. This role is for a well-rounded skilled technician with experience in complex maintenance, repair, and operational tasks, including water systems, sewer systems, tower sites, and general building maintenance. The Maintenance Technician 2 performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the construction, maintenance, repair, and renovation of County buildings, facilities, and equipment. The position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years experience as a maintenance technician
• Broad knowledge of Plumbing
• Broad knowledge of Electrical Systems
• Broad knowledge of Carpentry
• Broad knowledge of Painting
• Broad knowledge of Mechanical systems
• Broad knowledge of Snow plows, tractors, skid loaders
• Subject to FBI fingerprinting before hire and during employment

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the construction, maintenance, repair, and renovation of County buildings, facilities, and equipment
• Ensure that facilities are safe, functional, and well maintained
