About The Position

The Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for assisting in all general facility maintenance and involved in machinery maintenance.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment
Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple flowcharts and schematics documents.
Ability to respond effectively to emergency repairs as needed.
Must be able to follow written procedures and instructions to repair and adjust equipment.
Utilize the existing ERP/CMMS integrated modules to maintain data integrity material inventory.
Use ERP/CMMS to complete preventive maintenance documentation as required.

Have general knowledge of facility plumbing and pipe installation.
Have knowledge in basic repair of motor, pumps and compressors etc.
Ability to operate and repair general manufacturing machines including CNC machines.
Participates in the general repairs for all machinery throughout the facilities and grounds.
Lead team members conducting minor and major Preventive Maintenance and Projects as assigned.
Ability to trouble shoot complex problems on sophisticated machine tools, generators, air compressors and other types of equipment.
Assists in responsibility for physical movement of material throughout plant.
Working knowledge of HVAC and Chilled Water systems.
Assist in set-up of machines.
Understands pneumatics and electrical controls for machinery to include VFD’s and electronic circuits. Maintains knowledge and ability to work with manual machine repair.
Ability to operate and repair basic small machines.
Assist in leadership roles in the absence of the Facility Manage.
