About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Requirements

Minimum of (1) year of mechanical work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year)
Willing to use basic hand tools
Basic mechanical or maintenance skills
Knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics & plumbing
Able to read & understand assignments
Able to communicate orally & in writing
Willing to hear/respond to two-way radio
Willing to lift 50 pounds
Willing to climb stairs 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet
Willing to stand for long periods of time
Willing to withstand extreme hot, cold, inclement weather & odors
Willing to use various electrical & pneumatic power tools & equipment

Responsibilities
