About The Position

Gleim, Inc. is a 50+ year old Gainesville self-study exam prep company that has trained millions of accountants and pilots throughout the world. We are seeking a general maintenance tech to assist with our various facilities, residences, and grounds which consists of approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of offices, warehouses, barns, residences and hundreds of acres of property to maintain, along with motor vehicles and motorized equipment. Applicants should be an all-around handyman who is reliable, hardworking and with a can-do attitude. Experience in plumbing, repair, and general building facilities maintenance a plus. Should be comfortable and willing to perform constantly varying tasks that includes running errands for the company and owners. No work day will be the same and there are a variety of projects to be completed.

Requirements

• Must have own truck or van
• Good driving record with valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Some maintenance experience desirable

Nice To Haves

• Experience in plumbing, repair, and general building facilities maintenance

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of service requests and various building repairs (doors, walls, electrical fixtures, painting, plumbing, etc.)
• Run errands
• Troubleshooting systems
• Preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergencies, as needed
