About The Position

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to ensure the plant is in compliance with generally accepted maintenance principles while working independently requiring limited supervision.

Requirements

High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
Basic machining skills
Basic welding skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
Must own hand tools
Strong troubleshooting skills
High school diploma or GED and 3+ years related experience required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer literate.
Ability to use email and CMMS is required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permits
Outstanding attendance
Previous Maintenance Experience
Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics
Vocational training and 7+ years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
Safely accomplish assigned tasks
Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
Comply with safety regulations
Maintain clean and orderly work areas
Other duties as assigned
