As a Maintenance Tech at the Congregation of Holy Cross, US Province, you'll ensure our facilities at our Casa Santa Cruz location in Phoenix, Arizona, remain in top shape while working independently on a wide variety of tasks, from plumbing and painting to landscaping and equipment repair. This part-time opportunity offers an average of 16–20 hours per week and a flexible schedule based on facility needs and your availability. It's a perfect role for someone who values autonomy and meaningful work in a peaceful environment. As a part-time Maintenance Tech, you take pride in keeping Casa Santa Cruz running smoothly. You move through the property with purpose, checking on heating and cooling systems, repairing a leaky faucet, or replacing a broken light fixture. You repaint a room one day and install trim or drywall the next. On another day, you're outdoors trimming shrubs, mowing the lawn, or coordinating with a contractor to fix a larger issue. When a part is needed, you're quick to pick it up. You work independently, using your experience and instincts to get the job done right the first time, all while knowing your efforts directly support a greater mission.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Painting skills
• Mechanical skills
• Hand and power tool skills
• A positive attitude
• Ability to interact with others and work independently
• Ability to assist in a wide variety of tasks
• Ability to work early or stay later if needed
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
