About The Position

This is a third (3rd) shift position responsible for maintaining all equipment and facilities. The role involves performing scheduled PM checks and procedures, assisting with set-ups and changeovers, and performing various repair and fabrication tasks.

Requirements

Associate degree in a technical field and/or other related formal course work or equivalent years of experience in this or similar role in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
1 - 3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & welding
Excellent trouble-shooting/problem solving skills & experience
Ability to read and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work without close supervision
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Maintains all equipment and facilities.
Performs all PM checks and procedures as scheduled.
Assists with set up and change overs.
Performs machine diagnostics/trouble-shooting & repair.
Performs machine installation & set up procedures.
Performs welding & fabrication as needed.
Performs preventative maintenance (PM’s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment.
Performs all facility related repairs and/or project work as assigned.
Responsible for completing and turning in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM’s and all required Control Plans and Downtime logs.
Coordinates with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as needed.
Must be self-driven; with minimal supervision.
Have or acquire all hands tools to perform the job.
