About The Position

This is a third (3rd) shift position responsible for maintaining all equipment and facilities. The role involves performing scheduled PM checks and procedures, assisting with set-ups and changeovers, and performing various repair and fabrication tasks.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical field and/or other related formal course work or equivalent years of experience in this or similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical & welding
  • Excellent trouble-shooting/problem solving skills & experience
  • Ability to read and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all equipment and facilities.
  • Performs all PM checks and procedures as scheduled.
  • Assists with set up and change overs.
  • Performs machine diagnostics/trouble-shooting & repair.
  • Performs machine installation & set up procedures.
  • Performs welding & fabrication as needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance (PM’s) procedures related to all manufacturing equipment.
  • Performs all facility related repairs and/or project work as assigned.
  • Responsible for completing and turning in all maintenance related documentation including but not limited to daily log sheets for TPM’s and all required Control Plans and Downtime logs.
  • Coordinates with other resources (Supervisors/Managers) time, material and equipment required to perform necessary work as needed.
  • Must be self-driven; with minimal supervision.
  • Have or acquire all hands tools to perform the job.
