About The Position

The Maintenance Tech at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team throughout the plant by troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment. This role involves performing various functions including pipe fitting, machine repair, welding, operating machine shop equipment, and working with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and compressed air systems. The position also requires reading blueprints and schematics, performing basic to intermediate mathematical functions, maintaining a valid forklift operator license, and achieving a passing score of 80% or higher on the Maintenance Assessment. Compliance with GMPs, HACCP, LOTO procedures, and food safety programs is mandatory. This position is subject to weekend work and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents
Effective communication, both verbal and written
Ability to work overtime and weekends
Passing score on the Maintenance Assessment, of 80% or higher
Skill set in machine repair, welding, machine shop equipment, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics, compressed air, and blueprint/schematics reading

Responsibilities
