About The Position

This position is for a Maintenance Tech working the 3P-11:30P shift. The role involves performing work safely and in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards, understanding and adhering to all safety requirements, troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance without supervision, and communicating with upper management as needed. The technician must be proficient with all measuring and hand tools, able to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, and hard copy PLC programs. They must possess the skills to electrically and mechanically troubleshoot equipment, understand and follow directions from their supervisor, and have basic computer skills. The role also emphasizes executing, promoting, and working safely throughout the facility, wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), being aware of emergency exits and evacuation procedures, knowing the location and proper use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and never operating equipment or performing work without proper training and authorization. This includes always following proper Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, never removing or bypassing machine guards while the machine is in operation, being cautious of lift trucks and moving equipment, and reporting all injuries or accidents immediately. Requirements

  • Proficient with all measuring tools
  • Proficient with all hand tools.
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, hard copy PLC programs.
  • Skills to electrically and mechanically trouble shoot equipment.
  • Skills to understand and follow directions from his or her supervisor
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding and adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Awareness of all Emergency Exits and knowing procedures for Emergency Evacuation as well as location.
  • Knowledge of the location of the SDS Safety Data Sheets and how to utilize properly.
  • Knowledge of not to operate any equipment or perform any work without the proper training and authorization to do complete the task safely.
  • Always following proper LOTO lock out/tag out procedures.
  • Never remove or bypass machine guards and NEVER while the machine is in operation.
  • Being cautious and aware of lift trucks and moving equipment.
  • Reporting all injuries or accidents to the Department Lead or Manager or immediately.
